It has started to rain here, in Jakarta. I have to admit, though I always complain about the hot weather here, I surely miss it when the rain comes. I don't like rainy season. I do like rain, -like to watch it through the windows, I mean- but I hate rainy season.
And why is that? Well, for starter, I hate cold. And I don't like to get wet. It'll make me catch a cold in an instant. Yeah, my body is that weak. I mean, I don't even like to get sweat, and now I start to wonder why was it when I was just a little girl, we always go out in the rain and play?
The other thing I hate from rainy season is the gloomy feeling it brings. The clouds will be so dark, so grey, and I will have to wear bright colors just to lift my mood. Plus, when it gets dark and rain, people seem a bit more scary. There won't be so much laughter and all we can think of is to get home and get change to dry clothes.
And there's the flood. Well, enjoy Jakarta, they say, including the flood. I surely hope that flood canal thing is working and we can enjoy Jakarta flood-free. Of course, that one is just a wishful thinking.
But enough complaining. And start searching for that thick sweaters, I think. And I'm thinking to get me boots this time. Since I don't have any and my friend Eko always say I need to get one. And she pointed out, that even a cat in Shrek have boots. "Even the puss have boots", she'd say. Hmm... :)
