Meet Sondre Lerche and Club 8

this is Sondre and me

A nice guy. But I don't really like his music, unfortunately. His music doesn't really suit me (suit my mood, I mean) for now. But he signed my copy of his latest CD, so I'll forgive him. He he..

Sondre Lerche and his band "The Faces Down" is in town these days to perform on an indie festival "Dunhill Dimension Soundshine" along with Club 8 from Sweden. I think they'll be great, I mean, last year this festival invited Kings of Convenience and that's a huge success. People loved them. Well, I think people just love to hear something new, though. We're tired to listen to any other American rock band.

I spoke to the two bands, Sondre himself from the first band, and vocalist Karolina from Club 8. They both were nice. Not really interested in talking to me, but still, very nice. I don't know their music, well, I listen to Club 8 once or twice, but I couldn't remember any song they sing.

So when Karolina ask, "Do you have any song request for us to play tomorrow?" (it's very very very nice of her to ask like that), I just grinned, trying to look innocent for not knowing any title of their songs. But she was just okay with that and continue chat.

With Sondre, it was quite funny. Many of his fans were lining to get his autograph but he insisted to write down each name to their CD cover before he sign it. When it came to my turn, he asked for my name, but I just said, "Never mind, just sign it, thank you," and he did sign. Maybe I was being rude, but I don't like making people wait for something not really important, like having my name write by him, I mean, I can always write it myself, can't I?
