Well, to add a personal opinion on that matter, I do agree that putting a statue of someone we don't know and we (or is it just me?) don't care in a public place is tacky. It is better if they put a beautiful statue of a beautiful naked Greek Goddess holding a jar which also serve as a fountain in the middle of the pool. Not this young boy. I really don't see the necessity of this statue.
And they put words like, "Dedicated for the children of Indonesia by the Governor of Jakarta blah blah.." and I went like "WHAT???" you people want the children of Indonesia to become a president of USA? How?
Hahaha.. just a joke, of course. But hopefully, u get the point. Well, get going and take a picture with the statue then, before it's demolished. (Or moved, whatever). Like I did. :D
