So I Don't Get To Move to My Husband's House, I Move to My Own House!

In a week or so I'm going to relocate (again) but this time is much better: I get to live in my own house! Well, it's an apartment, really, or if you want to be exact, it's a rusun (rumah susun= stacked housing) in Bahasa. And it belongs to me. At least, in the paper it's said, but actually my sister is still paying for it.

Anyway.. Besides all the technicality of who owns it, I'm just excited that I don't have to share house again. I know I'm not good in room or housemating, I'm a solitaire person. Or maybe I'm just too private, I like do things on my own. Don't get me wrong, I like company, but not when the mood's bad and the other person is annoying. Hahaha..

So it's a small apartment, approximately 30 square meters (in the papers it's said only 29,5 square meters) but it got two bedrooms, a sitting area and small kitchen. My sister kindly bought me a kitchen set, which then she said "too big for this place" but I love it. Big drawers means big storage capacity and I love to have my things stocked neatly inside something.

I've checked the water and the electricity, everything seem to be going well, except the water is a bit different than the one in my rental room before, but I won't be drinking it, so it's fine. In Jakarta, most people use bottled water to drink coz we just don't trust the plumbing company. Or the government, but that's another issue I won't discuss here :).

The only problem is, I haven't gathered enough money to buy me a walk-in closet Carrie Bradshaw style (ok, I was joking), an air conditioner or even a decent mattress. Well, in my defense, being a single in this big city, there's too much temptation to spent and spent. On clothes mostly, shoes come next. Oh, and there's hang out times with friends and colleague. Told ya, being single is being busy..

Anyway, you get the idea, I'm about to move in to my own place. Yay! Can't wait.
