A Fancy Date

Right, so after that horrible date, I got a chance of a real date. A real fancy date. To a fancy place. A place I don't really familiar coz it's too fancy for me. Ok then.

This guy asked me out to dine at one of his favorite spot, a fancy restaurant, at this fancy mall. Alright, why not. But then, problems surfaced when I realized I never went on a date like this. And as any woman in another part of the world, the biggest concern would be, "what should I wear?"

Luckily I can wear jeans, according to a friend who often go to these places. Good, I think, I just bought a new pair of blue jeans and it fitted me nicely, accentuating all that I need to show.. :D

But a good jeans alone is not enough, said my friend, I'll have to wear a pretty and feminine tops. Great, so far I only have tops, which is not so pretty or feminine. But it turned out tops is shouldn't be my main concern.

"You should never, ever wear one of your bags. They're too big for a date. Go with a clutch or a feminine purse," another girl-friend reminded me sternly. Great, I don't have clutch. Or cute purse.

I never realized that a date can be the source of so much concern about my wardrobe. And I remember all I can think was, I need to go shopping. Haha..

So I finally go with my great jeans, a yellow colored tiny tops (I just love yellow) and a clutch. The only clutch I own. And a camel  wedges, my work shoes actually but the color make it ok to be worn casually.

And make ups. The final touch. Which is quite a waste coz my date don't seem to notice that I'm putting on eye liner, eye shadows, mascara and lipstick, but that's cool, I love the way I look that night.

The date went well, as far as I know. Although it's not my favorite kind of food, I try to enjoy it coz he loves that place. And he was very sweet, knowing I rarely go to that kind of place, he was serving me, asking me what I would like to eat but I just said, "I'll go with whatever your choice is," and he ordered for both of us.

We went to get coffee after meal and started to converse. I made him laugh by giving him the personality quiz. It's a series of questions with what seemingly random answers which has deep meaning about the person's character. So far I can confirmed what I already guess about him. He's quiet, reserved, don't really like having too many friends, but he shocked me by answering that his glass is empty. Mine is always half full.

And he even shocked me further when the questions unveiled about his love life. I never realized that he's the loyal kind of guy. Not just loyal to his girl and think highly of her, he would never cheat on her. Never thought of that before coz he's a good looking guitarist which normally very much in demand (:D), but he insisted that he's not a player when he met the one. Nice.. *I didn't revealed my answer to these questions :D.

He also like a humble and homely person, not so surprising on this aspect, I can figure it out myself. He likes his girl classy. And pretty. But then again, so is any other normal nice guy. It's a good thing I'm a classy and pretty girl. Haha.. Kidding.

Anyway, it was a good night.. :)
